PHL Group acquires the trading subsidiaries of Totally PLC

PHL Group is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of the trading subsidiaries of Totally PLC. The acquisition includes Totally PLC’s elective care and corporate wellbeing subsidiaries through a share sale, and the simultaneous purchase of the business and assets of the urgent care division.

This acquisition brings together two trusted providers with a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and reflects our continued dedication to strengthening local healthcare services.

The transition has been carefully managed by working closely with NHS England and local NHS trusts and commissioners to ensure there is no disruption to patients with all existing services continuing to operate as normal. Individuals will continue to receive personalised care from the same dedicated teams they know and trust. As a result, over 600 jobs have also been safeguarded.

Ross Brand, CEO of PHL Group, said “I am very pleased that we have acted quickly and decisively to bring our businesses together. This reflects a strong cultural alignment between our two organisations and most importantly, ensures continuity of care for patients while safeguarding a highly skilled and dedicated workforce who are passionate about caring for their patients.”

PHL Group was founded in 2009 and is led and owned by an experienced team of clinicians and healthcare leaders, with a clear vision to support patient outcomes by delivering the best possible care. PHL Group operates a wide range of services across the UK and internationally, which include general practice, urgent care, custody healthcare, ADHD services, wait time support, integrated urgent care, Special Allocation Service (SAS) and Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC). It is our mission to enable people to remain well and to receive the best possible health and social care
