We are excited to announce that this week PHL are launching our first Patient Forum. The main aim of the Patient Forum is to improve communication between PHL and our patients. We are looking forward to gaining a better understanding of the views and opinions of our users so that we can work together to progress the Patient Forum for the benefit of all patients.
The first Patient Forum will take place remotely, via Microsoft Teams this Wednesday, the 13th July 2022, at 1pm. The Forum will begin with a brief overview of PHL and the service we deliver. Then discuss to how patients can influence the decisions we make which will influence PHL as an organisation.
Our Patient Forum will allow our service users to have a better understanding and knowledge of our organisation and strengthen communication between PHL staff and patients. Patients will become more responsible for their own health and have a platform in which they can express feedback and voice concerns.
We are grateful to have the opportunity to launch a Patient Forum as we will be able to better understand our service users and increase the effectiveness of our services. The Patient Forum will also give an insight into non-medical and social care issues and will benefit from cooperation of patients to meet objectives. Patients will be able to get an idea of what is needed to improve healthcare services, and make sure that patient views are represented.
We would like to invite PHL service users to participate in or Patient Forum, if you are interested, please register here. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
